Pray for Mandy

Remember me telling you about Mandy? She showed up today at Living Water needing prayer. Her dad had surgery and because he has no insurance, they sent him to a nursing home for rehab. She was distraught. Everything that could have gone wrong, did. But you know what she did when she got overwhelmed? She came to Living Water to volunteer. Of course, we prayed together, too, but then she got the vacuum sweeper out and began cleaning all of our floors. And you know what? There was a visible difference in her countenance when she left. Such a lesson...
Please pray for Mandy & her dad. Praise God she didn't turn to drugs in her desperation!!

You know what, Emily? Your work is just as important, if not more. That's one thing I've learned---I think being a mom is the most challenging and purposeful job in the world---especially in these days! God bless all of you young moms!!!

I'm sorry about her dad. But I am glad in the choice that she made. She probably just needed some encouragement from you today.
