Even if you don't believe...

Even if you don't believe in Santa, it's still fun to go see him.  Yesterday, we took the kids to see Andy's mom (who wasn't home).  But she had a yard full of snow!  So the kids got out and had a snowball fight and built a very small snowman--which was eventually torn down and thrown at one another.  We loaded back up in the van and drove around a bit (you need to do more than just go home when it takes so much effort to load 3 kids in a van!).    Buff drove downtown and we saw Santa was in his house.  Andy asked the kids if they wanted to stop and see him and no one was too interested...until he told them that he gives out free candy canes! ha!

He gave out a LOUD Ho-Ho-Ho before we got to his house, so Olivia became a little unsure.  He asked her what she wanted for Christmas and she said, "A candy cane."  He obliged.

When asked what he wanted for Christmas, Josiah didn't really know...nor care.

But Isaac came up with, "A new FOOTBALL!"  They each got the free obligatory candy cane.
Three things we learned:  Santa doesn't sit very modestly,  he attends weddings (he had one to attend that evening, he said), and even though he's from the North Pole, he doesn't tolerate the cold very well.
