Thanksgiving Week--Post 3

As stated earlier, our week just kept getting better!  Wednesday afternoon, David & Lindsey came to our house and Joel & Susan came to Mama's house.  We had a BIG spaghetti supper together at our house.  The guest list included Mama (Liz Dietz) and two of her sons, Andy & Mike.  And then three of Mike's children with his grandchildren--Jeff, Emily & Joel.  Three of our kids and our grandkids were here--Amy, David & Zach.  We had 17 adults and 15 children.  I've never seen kids play as hard as these kids played.  They never stopped all evening.  Since most of them had played at Jump Zone that afternoon, we fully expected them all to sleep soundly that night.  It was just a hoot watching those cousins play.  Fifteen kids under 9 years old, I might add!!

Cousins eating spaghetti

We let the kids eat first---so they took up 2 tables.

Beautiful kids!!

Some of them had to get reacquainted.

Unusual from the generation before them.  Amy & Emily were the only girls in the generation before.  (These are their daughters)   The Dietz generation before that only had boys.  This night, the girls outnumbered the boys 8-7!

So much fun eating together.

Kids' cups lining the window for later.

Olivia & Addie washed (the same) dishes for over an hour after dinner.

A group picture of the Great-Grandkids after dinner.  Notice #1 & #5 boys from the left on the back row.  #1 is Tate--Jeff's son.  #5 is Josiah--Amy's son.  We didn't realize they looked so much alike until this photo!

Liz with all of her Great-Grandchildren present that night.  There were 6 great-grandchildren not there...and 1 due in March.
Back row, left to right:  Tate (Jeff's), Mama, Hannah (Emily's) holding Lorelai (Joel's), Josiah (Amy's), Sarah (Emily's), Ryan (David's)
Front row, left to right:  Max (Jeff's), Josh (Jeff's), Isaac (Amy's), Abigail (Emily's), Addie (David's), Olivia (Amy's), Carrigan (Joel's), Lily (Emily's), Noah (Emily's)
Not Present:  Jonah, Ashlyn, Caedon & Logan (Jason's kids in Germany) and Caitlin & Alexis (Matt's girls--they were moving)
Coming Soon:  Dax Chandler (Zach's)

And then we told them they could make silly faces!  What a fun night with so many cousins!!
