This hasn't happened to me(probably because I rarely post!) but a friend of mine posted the exact same blog on Sunday. Here is what she did:
Hi Lauren! So from what I understand is that while blogspot is free, there is only so much storage available as the photos have to be hosted somewhere to be available for the blog. I load my photos into photobucket and then copy and paste the html code into my blog so that photobucket, not blogger {which is a google run site, as is picasa} hosts the photos so it doesn't take up space on my blog. I know its confusing but look into using another site to host your photos and then add them to your blog. Let me know if I can help with any specifics on the how to or anything else!
