Last night, Caitlin wanted to light up her jack-o-lantern again. She didn't want to put it ouside for fear of it being stolen. (Does that make you want to repent, sons?!?) So we lit it up. About 30 minutes later, I went in to check on it and stood over it to look at the candle. When I did, I got a good whiff of candle burning pumpkin....and oh my! What a nostalgic moment. I love that smell! It almost made me want to go in and dress up like a hobo. (We didn't have exotic costumes in my day!!)

Isn't it funny how smelling something can take you back in a split second??
I love smells and how they can take you back in time... funny how our minds work!
