After a conversation I had with Ember this afternoon, I want to declare....
I believe there WILL be stretch marks in heaven!! After all, in Jesus' glorified body, the disciples could see his scars. Now I understand, they were scars that paid a price for you and me. But hear me out...we mothers paid a price to birth those babies. So there WILL be stretch marks in heaven! And C-section scars. All part of the price and the reward.

I personally don't see why people are so freaked out and upset by stretch marks/scars. You said it, Becky, we earned those marks! And who besides God and our husbands are the only ones who are going to see them anyway! If my husband wanted a perfect looking body he could go to a strip club but he loves me because of me...not my body. These stretch marks are only an added benefit!
ahem, i prefer to call them the Stripes of Motherhood, and wear them proudly (though i won't be showing them to anyone)
What about chickenpox scars? Is that even how you spell chickenpox?

But you got to go to Jeff's birthday party when Matt had his chickenpox!! (And he had to stay home)
i can't imagine there will be anything in Heaven for which a vaccine has been created...just seems wrong LOL
I was really looking forward to my glorified body, Becky. Eh, my stretch marks aren't bad. I really have no cause for complaint. Still...
I am proud of the ones on my belly...I don't plan on anyone ever seeing my belly...other than my hubby, of course. Not so proud of the others...eeeewwwww!
