I've been so blessed in my lifetime. I never thought when I was a young girl when I was studying about Southern Baptist missionaries that I'd ever get to travel to as many places as I have. It's amazing---and something I never really dreamed about.
But I also never enter the fall season that I don't wish I could travel to the New England states in the fall...and see things like this:

Fall is absolutely my favorite time of the year. I'd love to go somewhere where I'd be immersed in all of that color! If you live there, I hope you're soaking it in for me!
I've been privileged to go to Amish country. I absolutely loved it. But I'd like to go spend a summer with an open Amish family and learn from them.Maybe I've read too many Amish books!
And...I'd want to go to Israel again. I'd love to go with a Bible scholar who has lived there. And someone who understands the last days. In fact, I'd like to stay there a good long while and soak up the country, the culture, the history--all in reference to the Bible. Actually, I think I'd just like to go with a very small group led by Joel Rosenberg. I really appreciate his ministry.What would you like to do?

We have something in common! I have been all over the southern states both east and west but I am constantly telling Ricky a trip to New England in fall would be a dream!!! :)
New England and Nantucket in the fall, a Caribbean cruise, mission trip to China, spend a week (or a month) with the Duggars, and although I'd never thought about it before, I would love to spend a while with an Amish family too. How interesting and educating would that be?
There are so many places I'd like to go! I feel so happy to have been where I've been... but I'd like to travel to all sorts of different countries and stay a good, long, while... even live in my favorite! PLUS, Israel... definitely would like to go with Joel Rosenberg!
I desperately need to get back to China!! I want to meet Paul Brandt some day (country musician in Canada). I want to get in better shape, so that I can enjoy doing some fun outdoorsy stuff with my boys. And I want to adopt a kid who needs a loving home!
I don't really have a list at this moment. But, Derek was just saying yesterday he wanted to take me to Mass. His work is based in South Hampton, Mass and I'm so jealous that he gets to travel up there several times a year! Maybe you can go with us!! :)
